The world's most famous rally conceived by Thierry Sabine in 1976, after over 20 editions starting in Europe and finishing in Dakar, Senegal, moved to South America for 11 years. Since 2020, the rally has been held in Saudi Arabia, where motorcycle, car, quad, and truck drivers have been able to rediscover the characteristic sand dunes of this competition.
Oscar Polli has competed in and completed four editions of the Dakar Rally as a Bike category pilot riding for KTM in 1997, 1998, 2005, and 2008. He returned in 2022, this time on the new Saudi Arabian track, as a co-driver for the historic Team Tecnosport Rally in the Classic Car category and again in Arabia in 2023 as the coach for two bikers.
Oscar Polli takes on a new and unprecedented challenge: racing for a thousand kilometers on the Tacita Discanto, an electric motorbike.
